EVALUACIÓN AMBIENTAL DEL MUNICIPIO BEJUCAL

Resumen
En el trabajo se realiza una Evaluación Integral de las condiciones Geoambientales del Municipio de Bejucal, en el contexto de su desarrollo económico-social, para obtener una correcta valoración del estado actual del medio ambiente. Para ello se realizó una recopilación de información disponible en aspectos relacionados con la Geología, Geomorfología, Suelos, Vegetación, Fauna y otros componentes ambientales así como del medio socio-económico del Municipio. A partir de toda esta información se identificaron los principales problemas ambientales que afectan al Municipio y seguidamente fueron elaborados un conjunto de mapas temáticos, sobre la plataforma del sistema de información geográfico ILWIS versión 2,2 que resume en forma cartográfica las características medio ambientales del municipio, que permitió el monitoreo de los principales problemas ambientales. Y se diseñó un plan de medidas correctivas para mitigar o eliminar los impactos ambientales generales y para asegurar la protección y conservación del medio ambiente.

Abstract
In the work is carried out an Integral Evaluation of the environmental conditions of the Municipality of Bejucal, in the context of their socio-economic development, to obtain a correct valuation of the current state of the environment. For it was carried out it a summary of available information in aspects related with the Geology, Geomorphology, Floors, Vegetation, Fauna and other environmental components as well as of the socio-economic means of the Municipality. Starting from all this information the main environmental problems were identified that they affect to the Municipality and subsequently they were elaborated a group of thematic maps, on the platform of the system of geographical information ILWIS version 2.2 that summarizes in cartographic form the half environmental characteristics of the municipality, and it will also allow the monitoring of the main environmental problems. And a plan was designed of having corrective measured to mitigate or to eliminate the general environmental impacts and to assure the protection and conservation of the environment.
