Resumen

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo evaluar el estado del medio ambiente en el litoral del municipio Playa. En el mismo se brinda los resultados de investigaciones realizados sobre la contaminación de las aguas en el litoral de este municipio, relacionados con metales pesados, calidad bacteriológica y eutroficación.

Se identificaron las principales fuentes contaminantes, así como los problemas ambientales que afectan la zona costera. Se pudo definir y evaluar los impactos producidos por dichas acciones. Con el objetivo de contrarrestar los problemas ambientales existentes en el área de estudio se proponen una serie de medidas para superar o mitigar los mismos.

Abstract

The present work has as objective to evaluate the state of the environment in the coast of the municipality Playa. The same one offers the results of investigations carried out about the contamination of the waters in the coast of this municipality, related with heavy metals, bacteriological quality and eutrophication.

The main polluting sources were identified, as well as the environmental problems that affect the coastal area. It could be defined and evaluated the impacts taken place by these actions. Some measures to mitigate the environmental problems are proposed in the study area.
